I don't think the battery will be an issue. And in case no one said it, depending on what you are already using, it may be a sideways move not an upwards move. There are so many good machines out there right now, upgrading to any machine may get you a little more, but the sky isn't going to open up and gold coins drop out of it. As we all know, the gold coins grow in the ground!
