So the manual says that “beach” mode is optimized for salt water conditions, would there be any negatives using this mode in freshwater?

I would assume that beach mode would be the best mode for fresh water as well, but I’m not well versed enough with the Equinox technology to know whether there are any negatives for running in beach mode in fresh water. I normally wouldn't question stuff like this, but the manual said so many times that it was optimized for salt water, that I'm wondering how different the set up is.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I would probably start with Park 2 in freshwater, ground balancing in shallow water, and going from there. :skullflag:
