Still awaiting the "todays find" post wit a handful OR a few... OR even ONE... of the elusive "tiny gold chains"...

NOT one "tester planted"...

Which I think has been THE TOTAL hype on / of this detector.

What about a few tiny gold rings... ? ? ?

OR... any REAL gold at all ? ? ?

Don't know about you... but I am a gold guy.

Love relics... Love old coins...

BUT...

I love gold more... OH and platinum has a special place in my heart as well. :)

Here are some finds, many don't post in today's finds. I have seen multiple posts on the forums on Equinox finding gold chains.

I would like to see the vdi on a small gold chain. I have tested both my ring and my wife rings and they were solid 11. Some of her large earings were 9 but small gold necklaces were a 1! I'm sure the 800 hits harder on the tiny gold.

In the midwest I dig any solid repeatable signal and have yet to find a gold coin.

The little 2mm gold chain I have hits 1 on VID. I've seen other examples around the net of 1 as well. Hits loud and clear but I have yet to commit to digging all 1's I come across and that's the catch. Gotta dig perhaps hundreds of tiny foils and such to get what, a 2 gram gold chain... I couldn't care less about the value though. It's all about catching that elusive fish and having that feather in my cap to say I found a gold chain. Just not ready to commit to yet. I'm having too much fun finding silver.
