Don't expect miracles, but hope it helps a little with your thick iron sites. Coil coverage a depth will be less than the stock and remember that separation is a function of the center active region of the coil. There will be less iron under the shorter active region and less coil edge effects which should help a little for and aft but not so much side-to-side.

A miracle would be if it appeared in my pocket :laughing It’s a 12ft x 40ft area on the side of the house that has a heavy iron square nail infestation and I know this 6” can’t hurt. I’m gonna go do my best and have fun. We’ll see v

I pounded a small 20x20 nail infested area with a ML 7 inch coil that refused to give up a single coin with the stock coil, IH cents popped out all over the place. Check the house corners and doorway people used to bury large cents at those locations for luck.

It looks smaller then 6” but I really liked it.
