I was thinking ground nests of yellow jackets, snakes of the nasty variety and fire ants. The last week I dug was when I got the GW button and now I have dug it all! Doc says to put the detector down. I did for a few weeks, will get it back together when the frost hits. I didn't do the beaches this summer at all.
i didn't see what that lion heads about, saw the one that you found it. thanks for going to all that recording hassle, and your accent reminds me of my working pipeline day's! That heat in the south feels like i'm in a pressure cooker.
Congratulations on some great finds, I heard about the low country lots of history there.
Took me a little bit but I had to figure out why you were talking to your camera.
I thought the heat was getting to you.
I was out hunting this morning had to quit it got too hot. came back and watched this video in cool, cool air conditioning. Maybe I should just wait till this fall and watch your videos at home in the cool A/C. Always love your videos and expertise.
How far on the average do you travel from home for your hunts? I think maybe I am hunting too close to home and need to getting to some better locations.
Ive found confederate buttons 1/2 to 5 miles from my house. I have also found them 50 miles or more. Research is key. Might be one laying in your yard just got to know where people were back then. Relic hunting is a tough business....
