Please welcome the latest member of the herd...my very own bouncing baby 6” Nox mini coil. It arrived yesterday and has bonded nicely with the Nox 600 shaft end. I’m making bread this morning, but once it’s out of the oven I’ll be taking the baby out to test its mettle in this NE Ohio winter environment.

A cigar will be enjoyed by me, since I don’t hunt with anyone else to pass them out to. :hello2:I might splurge and get a $2 cigar to celebrate... but probably not. Too rich for my wallet.:laughing7:

Surely you can afford more than a $2 cigar with all the clad you'll find at the tot lots with the 6" coil!

I’m not so sure about that...I’m pretty "fiscally retentive." SWMBO says that I’m just cheap!:tongue3:

Anyway, the bread is out and it’s time to put on the cold weather hunting gear and get moving. Hopefully I can find some ground that is diggable in the park fields, but if not, I’ll head to the deep woods where there's a thick mat of leaf litter protecting the dirt.

I got that coil ASAP. Only used it once at an iron infested site. But look forward to using it in a heavily wooded area with bushes and saplings, there is this old foundation I will be hunting around. Congrats on the little guy!

Congrats on the new coil. Put mine on last year and it’s still on. Love it. Good luck.
