After thinking about it I ordered one. Yes the forums and putting the hours in using it tell you everything you NEED to know, but the equinox is the first detector I got at introduction and with the investment of the machine plus both accessory coils, whatís another $20? I really want to master this detector so this might help.

The best thing i did was print the manual out full size. i bought Clive's book decent book but he needs an editor and a illustrator too. And i need to read up on things more often to keep up due to anologazimers and limited coil time. Heard a lot of great things about Andy's other books and i like to read.

I probably will buy Andy's EQ book, just haven't yet.

Matter of fact, I have yet to purchase anyone's book on the EQ.

As for Clive, I have 4 of his books, and one of Gary Drayton's.

    All were of value.

For those who ordered the book, how long did it take to get it, and did you ever receive a shipping notice?

I have a signed copy of Andy's CTX 3030 book and attended one of his "Bootcamps" in Gettysburg, PA. Both the book and his bootcamp were quality productions put forth in a very professional manner. Well worth the money spent. I didn't hesitate to pay $19.95 shipped & signed for the Equinox book as I know it will be the same quality. I just received notice that my book has SHIPPED !! Anxiously awaiting its arrival !!

    Ordered one.
    Found it on flea bay.
    He's sold over 100 there.
If it's old, I'll dig it, dive on it, detect it or sometimes when I get lucky just bend over and pick it up.
