Yesterday was my 3rd time out with the Equinox. So far didn't have any deep targets like my buddy was hitting. We have really pounded the parks here in Spokane but can sometimes pull a deep coin. After searching for an hour I got a strong 21 signal that had 5 depth arrows showing. I dug down 8" and couldn't register anything with my pin pointer. I did the Garrett carrot trick to extend the range and was getting a weak signal in the side wall. I kept digging until the pin pointer was 2 full inches below the top of the hole and then scooped out the dirt and in the ere was a 1897 Indian head penny. My deepest coin ever, right now it's my most expensive coin ever but I'm sure as I find more it will help lower the cost of the Equinox.

That's a great dig, right there, MackDog! To dig an Indian with your pinpointer more than buried, is a GREAT job!!

Congrats on your first deep one with the EQX! There will be more...
