Installed the update and headed to the low/no EMI park which has already yielded a SLQ, Barber dime and other miscellaneous silver.
I had my hopes up that I could unmask some silvers previously hidden by iron.
I wasn't disappointed. A 2 hour hunt produced a
: 42 Merc
: 46 Rosie
: 43P War nickle
: 45S War nickle
clad and zincons.
A cool Canada pin with a leaping fish.
Yes I dug some can slaw and a few deep nails that still sounded ambiguously good.
My main takeaway is that I never heard such sweet sounding 13's as those nickels.
Kudos to Minelab for improving an already great machine.

Nice to know the firmware update worked for you. I just got the update yesterday and will try it tomorrow. Congrats on the nice finds.
