Turn off bluetooth on your phone.
Carry on the opposite side of your detector.
If that doesn't work try airplane mode.
I detect some iffy places, I like to have quick access to my phone.
Just in case I have to call an ambulance for someone who tried to rob me.
I always leave mine in my car.
If there is an emergency there nothing you can do anyway because 90% of the time it’s in someone else’s hands anyway.
Iphone interference is what we have to pay for by having a detector that is just more sensitive and that is why we are hearing so many good finds on areas that have been hit hard.
Less sensivity = less finds.
I use mine for tracking site coverage and boundaries and to document finds in the field so it is a detecting tool for me and I keep it on. I never have an issue just keeping it in a pocket opposite of the side I swing the detector and I am fine.
