Arm Cuff

Is there other stronger Minelab arm cuffs that will fit on the Equinox that Minelab has for other detectors.
I think I see somewhere (can’t find) that the Xterra one will fit on the Nox.
I‘ve seen metal one but just looking around before I do anything.

I've been thinking about ordering a Herke off of Steve. I noticed the stock plastic one is very pliable and I can see this aftermarket aluminum making a big difference; Opinions from you guys that have one?

Thanks EQ8. I’ve seen that video before. Mine is not broken and I have never broke a detector in 50 years. But the NOX cuff just seems week so I was just looking for an alternative.
I found one on eBay for $25+ shipping so about $27. Something for $59 plus shipping ? is nice but a little hard when your on SS.

I haven't broke mine I dont see it as a issue and I am hard on my equipment, I wouldn't worry till its time...

I agree but if you were on Social Secretary like I am that a big chunk out of my check at $60+ shipped.

I just compared the difference between a metal cuff and the OEM cuff.
metal. 8.61 oz
OEM. 4.07
—————
difference 4.54 oz more.
That actually helps in offsetting the coil as a counterbalance.

that looks comfortable especially if the cuff and handle can be moved back for adjustments.

I'm sure that's very budget friendly.....

I find the stock cuff perfectly fine myself, I do have a lead relic that fits into the top of the shaft and counterbalances better, but I’ll only use it if I’m going to swing a large area and even then I use a detector buddy so I can let go of the machine when I’m digging targets.

Doing all that ?.. That’s why I have Steve’s carbon fiber shaft. It has a counter weight that screws into the back of the shaft with a cap on it so I can add or remove the bags of shot inside. Also counter weights don't work well in the water because it works so well you can’t keep the coil on the bottom but it removed easily.
