Do you think your piece is not yet finished, or discarded, or repurposed, for not being workable for one reason or another?

Im not a knapper, but that last piece sure doesn’t look like how I would imagine that coming to be what you are thinking it will be.....Maybe I am way off.
Hopefully a knapper will chime in..

Respectfully, I dont see how you can distinguish a simple utilized flake from what you suspect may be an unfinished piece knowing what you thought of my piece or pieces earlier.

You can only be guessing on these “unfinished pieces”.

What tells you besides your imagination that these are unfinished and not just a simple utilized flake or broken artifact portion? ......I have asked before, but I was ignored. ....If you don’t have an answer, I understand.

Anyone can take flake tool and draw a point on them or cover a portion like you have been doing to make them appear unfinished, or something they are not.

If you want to stay credible, I wouldnt be publishing any papers on these as you call them, unless you can explain clearly how you know for sure.

If you are correct on these , I have more unfinished pieces than anything.

Hi quito, good to see that you can express your disagreement so articulately.

Did you read the paper linked to previously? (I found it extremely difficult due to my inability to resize it.) I do not know what the relationship may be between "Geradot" and the author of that paper, but if he is even a helper then I am quite sure his knowledge about that specific culture quite exceeds your puerile, argumentative questioning.

Standards of workmanship vary across time and most certainly between cultures, your 'knowledge' (whatever that might be) may be not so applicable to the pieces being described. Different in both time and location.
(if the custom is to 100% work all surfaces, then any piece having an un-flaked area would be 'unfinished', no?)

Good to hear you have 'rescued' lots of fragments, and have a strong imagination.

I did not ignore your question, I wanted to finish showing things that in my opinion are not finished products.
least of all I wanted to argue or prove my thoughts.
Understand, we are (I and you) in the "one boat".
I or you - we can not guarantee 100 percent of the correctness of our versions regarding Neolithic objects. For obvious reasons - between us and the objects a large gap in the difference in time.
Broken or altered for other purposes, I found the product in large quantities. I had several thousand such artifacts. Therefore, when I hold these things in my hands, my brain analyzes and comes to certain versions or hypotheses. I see how the master treated the stone and did not bring the object to its perfection in order to use it for its intended purpose.
I can not and will not prove to you that these items are not finished. This is my hypothesis, your right to accept it or reject it.
Let me decide what to publish on this forum.
I refrain from publishing - if most members of the forum ask me about it.
