    very nice stuff...i see arrowheads, other projectile points, knives, hafted scrapers....mostly obsidian, do you know the source of the material?

    your last post looks like chisels and adze bits. Did the native peoples have a robust wood working tradition?....lots of salmon runs and shellfish beds? Did many of the coastal peoples live in year round villages?

    There were permanent accommodation.

    Does many of your area people collect these or do they see you as some crazy person? I know if I do a hunt and its -5 degrees I have gotten looks like there is that crazy rock guy.

    Personal finds were on private property which I have permission to hunt.
    Best bug repellent I have ever used bugband.net check it out.

    do these peoples have a big art tradition in wood? like masks and such? I am assuming the climate and land is much like Alaska.

    am a hunter - a loner. Probably, I think crazy ... like many of us.
    I do not hunt at minus 5 ° C. Summer is very pretty comfortable.
    Today it was 20 C.
    The climate is very similar to Alaska....

    Awesome post! I'm quite familiar with some of the Northern Alaska material, and I'm surprised how young some of your stuff is. How solid are the dates?

    Dated II-I thousand. BC. e., as confirmed by radiocarbon determinations 2990 ± 100 Avachinskaya camp.
