Obsidian red in Kamchatka not met. (Basically - it is black, transparent-smoky, gray.)
mahogany - just a few copies, I dream to find a lot.
The largest specimens of knives for all the search time - only two. Length 150 and 160 mm. One gave a friend. My knife (160 mm) look at the photo.

That is a nicely made knife. I figured with the abundant obsidian someone made some nice big ones. Too bad about the red, it can be very nice.

It takes a lot of time to place all my finds (Neolithic, Middle Ages, etc.) in digitized form. Unfortunately - time is a great luxury. This site is the only place where I decided to show people photos of Neolithic artifacts of Kamchatka.
I have plans to create at least one more interesting topic on the Neolithic. I think I can do it.
Please do it.
Bill
Do you do your own photography? (most excellent btw)

I take photos myself. Thank for compliment .
I will definitely create another neolithic theme.

That one piece has very nice flaking and the material very much resembles our lighter colored basalts. The other piece resembles a point we have in western usa called a Parman. Thanks for showing. Do you have frames of things or what do you do with it all?

vatsbats is his eBay name and pretty much everything he is showing is for sale out of Germany.

I sell through my eldest son, he lives in Germany.

From your side it is not correct to answer for me. Please do not do this again.

Only 2? I would have a tough time narrowing down what to keep after finding so many great artifacts.

Yes, just two. I made myself think that was enough. Too many things will not brighten up life.

I think he is trying to say that it is against forum rules to advertise. He is not a charter member.

I would think giving out an ebay name and such is not out of line with forum rules. It probably happens often.

Now if I put up a link showing his stuff for sale that might not be cool.

Reminds me now of all the links to ebay fakes that have got free advertising here.
