Nice finds , what material is the adze made from ?

hole formed during cleaning. the bone is rather weak

Soak it in Elmer's glue and water mixture. It will stabilize the piece.

Thanks for the advice !
After a little cleaning from the ground, to preserve the bone, I used Paraloid B-72.
So far, the "patient" looks good.
