what say Spain low about digging? Its full legal?

The media (television and newspapers) speak ill of us .... but not prohibited if basic standards are met, you can hunt relics as in any other country in the world, without doing so in places with archaeological , or around (in the U.S. can not hunt relics in the fields battle of the war of independence), only in the region of Andalucia is necessary to request a permit to hunt relics ... but not prohibited , where police arrested some relic hunter appears in the newspapers and television, but not is almost always illegal and the police after a few years and returned to the seized finds.
The rules must respect a relic hunter in Spain are the same as in USA or China.

1- Do not detect archaeological sites or nearby.
2 - No detectors near military bases or airports.
3- request permission from the owners of fields and not to transfer any fence.
4- Do not export any object over 100 years old without proof of purchase of antiques.

to avoid problems in Spain we recommend the following things:

1 - carrying off a current copy of the law on cultural heritage of the community where they specify that the detection is not prohibited (¿where ? you can get on the internet or ask the ministry of culture of the community.)

2 - No detect only .. (. Can steal or have an accident .... as in any country)

3 - carrying off the purchase invoice of the detector (if not subpoena him carrying off the detector)

4 - Do not argue with anyone (the Spanish are likely to discuss everything, but we have our rules you can ignore)

5 - If the police stop you show yourself friendly and courteous, report and display the copy of the law on cultural heritage of the community. (Remember that not all police are fools)

6 - If after six hours hunting not realize that the place is fallen stone walls, many pieces of pottery and bone, beware! you are in an archaeological site and all the objects found have to deliver within 24 hours. (only for clearly Archaeological sites, do not panic if you are hunting for relics in a freshly plowed field, is guilty of plundering the farmer and not you)

Greetings and good hunting! :hello:
