look at the ground and how smooth it is. Disked and cleaned to perfect condition for mding. To the right of the pic is where i found a gold ring buried over 60 years.Its hard to believe this part of the airbase had a gym and other buildings on it. forgot the pic

nope its between Fresno and Clovis

first time i saw that aircraft, it was two in the morning. i had put 500 miles on the truck...out of the dark is a B-17 at windshield level. i thought i was in a time warp.
