Yeah, I've been wondering that myself. Hey, if the market drops another 4000 maybe we can get another big drop in oil and another nickel off the gas? >:(

"Costs more to get it from there to here".

But they don't Consider it's free to them
Or if they cut Prices in half It would Cost half to get it Here.

There working on a Record Quarter
before the Market completly Crashes & The rest of us
all go Broke

Regular unleaded is $2.95 a gallon at Exit 86, on Interstate 24 just north of Clarksville, TN. It's $2.97 a gallon on post at Ft. Campbell, KY. I filled up two days ago at Wally-World for $3.47 a gallon (@#$#!%$).

Same thing happens to me, RJ...

If I feel it's gone down, I put a few more bucks in, then it goes down more.
I can't win!

I have NEVER filled my tank! ever

Ain't it beautiful??! ;D :D

At last we are content with $3.00+ per gallon. Just where they wanted us.

One explanation given on the news tonight was that the fuel in the underground tanks at the gas stations now was of course purchased by the station before oil went into freefall, hence they have not lowered the prices on the gas they currently have. Apparently, some stations won't lower the price until the next shipment, which they paid less for.

Now, of course, this doesn't work in reverse. ::) If someone farts in the Middle East and oil goes up, the gas stations certainly don't wait until their next shipment to raise their price accordingly.

$2.80 here in Toledo. Of course OPEC is having an emergency meeting in Nov. so they'll cut production and drive the prices back up. :(

OCTOBER 15.

Oil $73.61 a Barrel

Gas $2.06 Nationwide

Today

Barrel Oil Down to $73.15 (DOWN .40)

Gas up to $3.03 Nationwide (UP .97)

Explain This

Everyone is paying 97 Cents more per Gallon
Because they are spending 40 Cents less per barrell ?

Now Who are the Thieves & What Country are They from ?

Refineries supposedly making up for lost revenues. They are regulated and so they couldn't raise their prices as fast as the other parties involved. But now they are able to way over charge especially with one major refinery way behind in production due to the last hurricane. Besides Dick Cheney's gonna be outta work soon so he's gonna need a cushion seeing how he/they let the stock market fail. :-\
