actually thats the collection of the owner founder of Knight/s* Arm/s*
he was buying maxim machine guns on the open market(at 16) for like 25-50 dollars before the 1968 NFA(national firearms act)now all(but a select few) of the arms reside in a museum

It was the collection of the late Bruce Stern, an attorney and, past director of the NRA that was auctioned off earlier this year. the collection netted approx $12.7 million dollars.

HI Edde: As you inow I am a gun nut. I used a Mauser 7.63 , top, last picture, in WW-2. I quickly found that 7.63 was slightly better than an ice pick, so swiped, err, scrounged a S&W .45 acp revolver.
The Mauser pistol was an engineering marvel, the only screws were the two holding the wooden grips on..
Yes biga1al, I love lugers also. My sisterin law's hubby is afraid of guns. He has a mint artillery model in 9 mm, 6" barrel & shoulder/ holster stock,.stored in his closet that was given to him sigh I have told him that it needs a home where tender, lovin care will be it's norm. So far he still hasn't gotten the hint and a still has it in the closet ??
