“Say kids, what time is it?”
“It’s Howdy Doody time!”

“It’s Howdy Doody time. It’s Howdy Doody time. Bob Smith
and Howdy too, say Howdy Do to you. Let’s give a rousing
cheer, ’cause Howdy Doody’s here. It’s time to start the show.
So kids let’s go!”

True story........I lived in a house in Long Beach Ca fer years that had a couple very small, old 1BR bungalo's in the lot next door. The owner had a big house in the lot next to the bungalo's. Owner told me Buffalo Bob lived in one of the bungalo's for many years, including the entire time he was doing Howdy Doody.........I woulda thought he coulda afforded something a lil' nicer. She said he was very quiet, a real homebody, not the "Hollywood star" type.
