1. Agree with above poster, one word, KLINGONS
2. The music from Star Trek is instantly recognizable and helps tell the story, but in all fairness NO ONE compares to John Williams

4. Anakin Skywalker AKA Darth Vader isn't a legitimate character? (no not the loser in the three prequels either)
5. Star Trek set the industry standards for Special Effects beginning with Next Generation TOS was the best you could get at the time it was shot (also TOS lead the way for Star Wars)
6. The phaser is a tool that can be used in many ways, the blaster is simply a sledgehammer
7. Puppets, who needs em when you have CGI? Midgets there were some episodes that contained little people.
8. Khan May be Kirk's grandfather (lol)
9. An android, an adventurer/archaeologist and one bad tempered alien not to mention a visually impaired guy who flew the ship for quite some time
10. No one in Star Trek goes around lusting after his sister and even makes out with her a time or two (eww yuk)
