These 3 men are competing in the axis of evil hot dog eating competition.
Since this picture was taken one has died, another is probably dead and the remaining one is reported to be gravely ill.

According to the quote in your post:

"If one were to call for a 'black label' on frankfurters, where should the warning label end? If we were to evaluate each food for its naturally occurring toxins and eliminate that food, then our food plate would be empty," said Roger Clemens, a nutrition expert at USC's pharmacy school.

It would appear that ALL processed foods can cause cancer. We are all doomed. Unless you grow it yourself, or shoot it yourself, you will be buying, processed, foods from the grocery store.

Simple answer: Buy local and don't eat processed foods. Frozen vegetables are fine, and canned goods are ok, if they don't have tons of sodium.

Just as with cigarettes and seat belts , warning labels on food will reduce the COST of health care.
It will be primarily educational in that by changing the long term eating habits of Americans the health of the nation will slowly improve.
Because of the influence of American Big Business and Hollywood around the globe any change will improve the worlds health as well.
When Obama's new health care plan labelling will be mandatory to slowly improve the health of the nation , add years to average productive lifespan and reduce dependence on greedy doctors and pharmecuitical companies.
