House 9 1/2 feet wide and 42 feet long

NEW YORK (AP) -- It's 9 1/2 feet wide and 42 feet long and is billed as the narrowest house in New York City. But there's nothing small about its asking price: $2.7 million.

Located at 75 1/2 Bedford St. in Greenwich Village, the red brick building was built in 1873, sandwiched in a narrow space that used to be an alley between homes at 75 and 77 Bedford.

Yea, thanks for putting up the pics. I read the headline this morning and was having a hard time picturing a "house" of such dimensions. 2.7 Mill is a whole lot of cabbage to spend on an utterly depressing,,,,,,,, hole in the wall :-\. Gpurs...

Who would want to live in a crowded, polluted noisy city for that when you could live in Aspen or some nice beach front in California ???

Whoever buys it will have one of those as well, and a house in Aspen, and a yacht, etc. etc.

Science uses rats in studies and human nature copies the rat. In China, then even honor the rodent with, the year of the rat.
