If anyone here has ever used "TrueSpace", I have some good news and bad news.
First the BAD news: Caligari is going out of business due to cuts at Micro$loth. How they're connected I don't know . . . but this brings us to the GOOD NEWS!!!
For a short time, the latest version of Truespace (7.6) will be available for FREE - the full version, no time limits, not crippled, the full RETAIL version - at no charge, you just have to download it. Do a google search for "truespace download" and get a copy from a reputable (download.com is a good one) web host.
Some of us here (myself for sure) have used the free version 3.2 which was offered to entice us to "try before you buy". It was great for beginners, but not the latest features. Version 7.6 has the latest features, even many objects you can import into your drawings.
This is something you have to see to believe. Get the story at http://www.caligari.com . . . and snag a copy for yourself. Well worth the time it takes to download it!
