Back many years ago, i worked for a watchmaker, guess you could say I was an apprentice. Bottom line, I learned to repair watches. Anyway, not only did I do watch repair, i also did jewelry repairs including fabrication using hand-wrought and lost wax casting techniques. I was paid in cut diamonds. Sweet times way back then...
I still to this day do work for friends...

In school we have a full jewelry workshop. Need I say more?? :wink: :notworthy: :headbang:
And it is included in my gemologist education; do have fundamental knowledge in jewelry making. ;D
