    Im all for history but Im with Badger, $86,000 is a bit much. If this thing sells Im buying a case of bibles & diggin' my .303 Brittish rifle out of the closet! Lets head to the range & make some quick cash Badger.........

    I don't think the seller even sees the irony of the bullet being 'British'

    haha exactly it would make more sense if it where an 8mm Mauser round but unless it was a case of friendly fire this has to be a hoax. Im sure there are plenty of cases like this, I know on the CSS Hunley they found the 20 dollar gold coin that Dixons? wife gave him for luck prior to enlisting, it stopped at bullet during one of the battles he was in and was found a few years ago when they excavated the Hunley.
