Tonight, it will be grilled roastbeef subs.
I will grill thin sliced roast beef in olive oil on the cast iron griddle, top with Swiss cheese, then put it in a sub roll with miracle whip, tomato, and lettuce.
Oh dang it, I forgot to buy mushrooms.
Cut it in half and eat 1/2 tonight and other 1/2 tomorrow for lunch.

What a great dinner. I have not had meat loaf in awhile and I don't know the last time I had some ice cream. Tonight I am having some chicken a friend brought by and all I have to do is the veggies. I am thinking of broccoli and cauliflower steamed combo and some brown rice. For dessert I have some leftover apricots, which when I think about it would go excellent with some ice cream. Next time I hit the grocer, I will pick up some ice cream to go...Yummy, Yum, Yum.

    Slug Soup

4 oz. chopped chicken and pork, brown rice and mushroom soup goes a long way.

Black-eyed peas and hog's head cheese. My wife ran a restaurant in Mexico for 12 years, so she's an amazing cook. But tonight I will have hot dogs. And I really really would like to have some fried okry, and maybe some poke salad, but you can't get that up here.
    Just like Texas in 1880.
