Good job, double a. We're the same age, too. No need to involve the local PD as far as I can see; you pretty much handled it.

I don't get it I have to agree the kid was looking to make an honest buck. According to you he left after you didn't want his service, so like a good salesman he went on to his next call. He wasn't disrespectful from what you said and if your neighbors didn't want they could just say no as well.

If I understand correctly AA told the tweaker "no" so he went next door & nobody answered so he "let himself in". He was casing the hood lookin for an empty home to rob...........right AA? I wish you were my next door neighbor DoubleA!

If that kids parents would have beat him properly as a child he would have a decent job today instead of painting house numbers on curbs.

Generally when kids go scout out a house to break into. They will knock on the door and it someone answers they make up an excuse, ie, paint your numbers on your drive, cut you grass, paint your house, etc. If no one answers then they will attempt to break in.

I am pretty much home 90% of the time and if someone knocks on my door and I am not expecting anyone. I will peak out from another window away from where they would see me so i can see who it is. So far, I never had to stop anyone from breaking into my home.

Of course I think my little signs I have at every window and entrance, (DEADLY FORCE IS AUTHORIZED BEYOND THIS POINT!), give them a better decision to make and go elsewhere!
If I was President; I would take away welfare! I wouldn't make any bargains with foreign countries! I wouldn't take #@*& from any country! I would close the borders! I would get rid of taxes! I would make EVERYONE own at least 5 guns! I would ENFORCE Finders Keepers Law !!!!!!!!
