up here near jacksonville , florida -- we got "heat index" warnings yesterday --basically that means unless you gotta go outside and work to make your living --don't go outside -- its so hot its dangerous --been forced to hunt late in the evenings --limited to the last hour or so before dark , and a bit of night hunting as well --the heats been brutal *** however on the up side I did find a cool colonial era "tobbaco" trade pipe bowl --during my last "day" hunt --it was a eyeball surface find --photo of it in todays finds a few days back .

Heat Index been over 100 here for so long I don't even think about getting out to hunt right now. Wish I still lived by the ocean.
