Pete, update your email address in your profile (to a valid one) and I might add your coin to TBOT!

;)

also, try to tell a bit of a story about how and where you discovered it!

To change the subject,
Mich. Badger- what is your avatar?
(It looks like a bicycle wheel in a tree.)

Hey there bigcypresshunter, the avatar is from a topic post of mine a while back. It's a 1934 Ford car wheel rim I found growing into a tree.

The post is dead as a door nail now but here's the whole thing just in case you're interested.

Thanks

I remember reading Pete's whole story on here about a year ago or so.

That's why I haven't been able to follow this dialog about him not telling his story.

I think Pete's story belongs in that best section if anybody's does. Also lonewolfe's 8)

Badger, great avatar! What a neat find! I've seen plenty of cars with trees growing up through, but that one is unique. I like it. -Ben

Thanks. I just sort of stumbled upon it.

I sent the story into Ripley's but didn't so much as get an email "We're glad you like Ripley's...thank you for shopping with us."

Oh well, it took Mel Fisher a long time to be recognized too. ;D

Pete, please repost your story and pics with your new account!!! I would love to add your coin to TBOT. (what's the URL of the "long story" you posted?)

If he wants to barter with it, I don't need to read it.
