With almost 7 yrs of marriage...

Family 1st, Metal Detecting 2nd.

1) I learned that if the storm is brewing, let it finish and it'll pass soon enough.
2) Don't ever forget your anniversary date. :P
3) Don't ever forget her birthday. ::)
4) Buy her a Rose, just because. ;)
5) Make sure there's time during the work week for just the two of you, not just on the weekends.
6) Do the dishes and laundry too, she REALLY appreciates that!
7) Help mop the floor, feed the dogs, bath the kids, fix the light, fix the bathroom faucet leak, change the oil in her car...

It all ads up to a life long reward. Her! :)

If you want to lead the herd....its a good idea to turn around once in awhile to make sure they are still with you.

And then we have my Grannies Ozark lessons in life.....I had a great opportunity to record her talking and telling stories of her life in the Ozark mountains.....By the end of the night I was rolling on the floor laughing.....But she was raised believing these things...

Always put a clean silver coin in the butter churn...that way a witch cant turn it sour on you.

Be careful when leading a horse across the creek ,because if a hair of his tail falls into the water ,it can turn into a snake.

You can get transplants these days...them doctors can just about do anything now...but I want to tell you kids whatever you do dont take no brain transplant...because you could get a brain of a murderer and that wouldnt be good. And once you get that new brain you would forget everyone you know. Same ways with the heart...I would make sure if I had to get a heart ,that the heart was from a good person not an evil one.

Three tacks nailed to your door frame in the form of a triangle will keep away sickness and also protects against evil or if someone wants to hex you.Put it on your barn too to help your animals.

And one of my personal favorites...."There just aint nothing out there, that a little nip of moonshine wont cure."

And then again...

Unless you're the lead dog in the pack, the view never changes.

A) Now has a scienfic basis, since the silver is chemicaly converted into a form of Coloidal Silver, works as an antibiotic & viracide. hehehe

There's one I understand, but I don't understand.

It's : "Never look a gift horse in the mouth"

Where else or what part are you suppose to look at then? ??? ;D

Oh you are crazy....I am rolling on the floor here.....LOL......the gift IS THE HORSE.....and it means you aren't suppose to look in the horses mouth to see if its teeth are ok.....It was a gift...so don't ask its value.....
But as long as you asked...You might not want to look at other parts of the anatomy either and ask its value ...if it was a gift......Blahahahahahahaha....coz some woman is sure to slap you right upside the head!

No matter where you go, there you are.

"Life is short, eat your desert first."

If you're going to lie on treasurenet, at least make it believable.

"If women don't find you handsome, they should find you handy"

And never ever give a break an even sucker!

the saying implies that if someone gives you a horse, dont look in it mouth .that is the way to tell the age of a horse by the wear and shape/angles of it teeth, so you may end up with an old nag!!!!its to good to be true

Question everything!
Don't ever be afraid to ask a question!
The wisest people know that they don't know everything!
Truth is sold as shares and no one can claim to hold them all!
Wisdom comes not from knowing everything, but in knowing from whom to ask!
