All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
I have been tasked with having my brother's ashes moved to the
cemetery on the grounds of the old Edgewater Hospital in Chicago
because that is where his friends are buried and he lived there for
years. The problem is I have never lived in Chicago and don't know
anyone living there. If someone could please tell me the name of
that cemetery I can contact them and complete my task. Thanks
so much for any help that anyone can provide. It will mean a
lot to my mother. siegfried schlagrule

Sorry for your loss there Siegfried, but with all due respect, is that the right thing to do?

Think of it, when one asks to be cremated their last intention is to be buried. I think you would have to see if they have a niche for ashes first. I know that when I go, I would prefer to be ashes as well and would rather be scattered than buried. I am pretty sure if he left a will, his intentions would be listed there.

Look at it this way. If there is an afterlife, he's already with everyone he wants to be with anyway.

Just a little food for thought. :icon_thumleft:

Being put there was a promise made by my mom to him at his request.
I think the intent was to reunite his high school football team in death.
She says that several of them are there in that cemetery but did not
remember the name of the cemetery. Mom is 75 now and not having
done that yet is bothering her so she passed the baton to me. I don't
like signing blank checks and I can't get up there before January so I
want to contact the place and see what I'll be expected to pay. My
brother died in 2002 but I just now found out about it as I just in
august found Mom. She had been missing from my life for about
25 years. Her faulty memory isn't answering a lot of my questions
but we'll live. Whether its called burial, niche or whatever I'll be doing
it to please her. regards, siegfried schlagrule
