Greetings, mamabear, that is good. Evidently you are coming along in good shape. After I had my right knee
replaced I used a walker for a few days, then tried to use a cane. But for some reason I couldn't get the cane
to really work right so I used the walker for a while longer outside. I moved around the house a lot without it,
getting the knee going good. I also had the therapy. That is so important, I hope you are having that. With
professional therapy your knee will improve so much better than if you just do it at home. You are in my
prayers for a quick and speedy recovery with both of them. Are you really ok with having the other one done
after only 18 days between replacements. Personally, that seems a little soon for the second one because it
will take a few weeks to get all the strength back into the first one and have good balance with it.
Just be careful with it for a while so you don't strain it the wrong way.
Prayers are with you.

Good luck mamabear, I pray all goes well for you. This time next year you'll be dressing the tree and remembering a good year of detecting. Enjoy the rest for now and have a great Christmas for you and your family

Here's hoping for a good recovery don't rush it, do what they say.I went through 4 months of therapy to get my arm back after a detached rotator cuff. It was HARD being patient, but worth it, I have a good arm again. Hang in there

thanks Ray, I had surgery done Oct. 25 so it's closer to 2 mths in between. am still hesitant 'bout having it done so soon, but my doc thinks I can do it, & I have my daughter here to help& she travelled cross country to be with me for this. so I guess I should do it while I can.
thanks everyone for your support & prayers. I can hardly wait to get back out & start exploring! & get a job!! that will be such a good move for me.
to all that have had this surgery, man it is a struggle, but amazing how fast recoup is.
thanx all.
