There was a post a while back on a person who had found a bible at an estate sale.....I found the great grand daughter of the family and she is interested in the bible....but I cant find the post now....following is partial email from her
............................from 2006 re the bibles found at an
estate sale. I live in Hickman Co, TN and there is an old cemetary on land
bordering my grandmother's farm and buried in that cemetary is Jane Killick
Fowlkes. Martha Killick Fowlkes was married to Jane's brother, Adam Killick who
is also buried here. Martha later remarried a Peyton and moved to Ky. Mary L.
Killick is the daughter of Adam and his first wife, Victoria. Victoria is also
buried here.
I am curious as to where these bibles were found.
Please e-mail me if you have any more info. I am particulary interested in Mary
L Killick (did she marry) and Adam (how he died- died 1866). He fought in Civil
War and was also a doctor.
