It's called Mistral. Its a kind of storm between the alpes and the massiv central in france. Cold air goes down the valley of the Rhone from north down on the mediterran sea. Here is a link for You. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistral_(Wind)
Hope this helps. Sometimes in autumn it works the other way. Very warm air from the sea flows up north. You can get over 30 degrees C in the middle of october. :headbang:
Sorry, tried the link in several versions. It didnt work. Is there a problem with copy and past Wiki ? Try to google Rhone mistral yourself.... :dontknow:

Well, it's probably some kind of interference... it looks electrical.

I recreated the online animation the best I could - you can see there is no evidence of it in other frames...

... and the weirdness seems to extend out to the NW....

I paused the second frame where you can see it.

The Mistral huh? That is an interesting thought - but the pattern here is very symmetrical.

I have to say that I think windharvester is on to something with the mention of a Mothership.. I've been watching "V" fir several weeks and they do have a large craft hovering over Spain now.. Maybe we should all tune in ABC tonight at 9pm and see what happens ;D

That was just me Marc. I'm in the area testing a new 100,000,000 watt detector. So far, so good, but the ship housing the generator and powerline hookup keeps dragging me off shore. I lost 3 pairs of shorts so far.

More later.
