This pretty sums it up for me.

It's winter here in MICHIGAN

And the gentle breezes blow,

At 40 miles an hour and 32 below!

Oh, how I love my MICHIGAN

When the snow's up to your butt.

You take a breath of winter air,,

And your nose is frozen shut.

Yes the weather here is wonderful,

You may think that I am a fool,

But I could never leave my MICHIGAN,

'Cause I'm frozen to the stool.

Thanks Sky Pilot and daedalus, This was kinda true a couple days ago and before. LOL. But last night
and today we are getting rain and it is dropping the snow down. It is gone off the roof now and I can
see dark spots that is water laying the snow in low areas of the lawn. It is supposed to be above freezing
during the days and barely below at night for the next week, so the snow will soon be all gone sometime
within the next few days. That will sure be a welcome sight. LOL.

Have a good day everyone and HH.

Hello, After 2 PM the temp started dropping and the rain gradually turned to snow and it has been snowing
steady since then. We were gone visiting this afternoon and just drove home a little bit ago and still snowing
so thick and hard that it was hard to see the road. And the wind is also pretty strong now so it is one of those
'horizontal' snowstorms. There is now 2 inches of snow where it was bare ground at noon today. The news
this morning said that the temps would drop some during late afternoon we'd maybe get some sleet and then
snow for a while but I don't think we were supposed to get this much. :dontknow: It is still 28 degrees so
it didn't drop too much but it is enough to support the snow. It is just after 9 PM now.

Ah......but just think of the coming mushroom season, the singing loons on those warm summer evenings, the smell of fresh pine after a spring rain, miles & miles of crystal clear trout streams, and a cozy campfire. Ahhhhhhh, Michigan!
