I know... "he'll be smeared on the pavement within a week." Lol...I hope not. It's an '08 with 621 miles on it that I got for nothing...it was a steal.

Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R ...it's over a hundred pounds lighter than my other bike...kind of feels like a ten speed. I'll be taking it easy...it can get up to 50mpg if you use one of the detuning modes (A, B, C).

Nice bike :icon_thumright:

I need one of those with these weekly trips to Houston. I could leave it down there and ride it around and save a bundle on gas.

Thanks all :)

The guy who tuned it had, until recently, the world speed record on a Hayabusa; 271mph, but it was recently broken. It will do 187 and over 200 if you flip the speed limiter bit. I will never come close to that velocity, but 0 to 100 is just about instantaneous. The guy who had it traded it for a Boulevard 109 when it was in for its first scheduled service...I guess his friends had 109's and it is a lot of bike (it might have been his first - just about everyone there asked if I had ridden before :icon_pirat: with "that look" on their face).

* I found this article...they have the pic for the Honda wrong (shows a Busa so it looks like there's two of them)...

funny,Tony Montana is on HD right now,,,,it did not end well

Tony didn't have any respect for anything...sniff....

My only worry, like always, is other folks. I have seen too many stoopid accidents to take something like this lightly and will ride accordingly. I haven't taken it out of C mode which decreases power by 40%, but once I get some muscle memory going (I keep wanting to put my feet in the other bike's position...duh), I'll check it out, safely.

Thought you yanks didn't like bikes like these due to you spontaneously combusting if passing 100mph? :tongue3:

Found a Hayabusa with stabilizer for Sparty...bit of a "girlie" bike though. Should suit him well! :laughing9:

Thanks Dano! They had one there with a 300mm on the back with the extended swingarm, but that's not for me...it's going to stay stock, or as the tech said, "unmolested."

I had one of them at one time in my life. Had it for about 3 weeks and sold it. I scared the crap out of my self. Little did I know that it had work done to it and it was a 250 MPH bike with my fat a$$ on it. super FAST

have fun with it and be careful
