National Healthcare Lottery.....Why Not?

Here's the thought;
One national lottery that would offset the cost of "major healthcare" for everyone in this country. Since it would be covering/offsetting all major medical healthcare cost it's likely that even more people would play. Why not?
What's your thoughts on this concept?

It's a great idea in theory, unfortunately in practice the money that is earmarked would never reach its destination. Just like today's lottery money is going toward education
