Where They Didn't Come From.....But Could Have
Where they didn’t come from, but could have. Works like this;
You pick the common phrase or saying and then fabricate a complete tale of its origin. As an example I’ll use, “A stroke of genius”.
In 1898 Claude Monet, while describing the mastery of the famous Dutch artist Rembrant, proclaimed, “Every motion of his brush is a stroke of genius.”
Or you could say, In 1951 Albert Einstein lost all use of his right side after suffering a stroke of genius.
Be creative, have fun, make us believe or make us laugh. Sometimes it's ok to lie.
