Which model tex? I just splurged and bought a $9:50 one. for cash ! Rolex's are a narco symbol down here. A guy may be in worn out jeans with beat up, sockless huraches , but sporting a gold Rolex and chain, means leave him alone .

Frankly I love Rolex watches, want a submariner. anyone feel generous?

Sure do.. I have an old submariner that I bought back in 1970... At the time, it was the only watch that could be used for diving and for flying. Nowadays, any cheapo Timex will do the job..

But I do like my watch. Back then, I paid $300.00 for it at Birks Jewelers in Victoria. That was a lot of money back then. I would not even want to guess what it it worth now.

As a sidebar, I have found a ladies gold Rolex too. I did not get to keep that one...... I was hired to find it in a lake under 4 feet of mud.

Cheers

I don't wear a watch, I can usually tell what time it is by looking at the position of the sun and if it's cloudy and I really need to know I look at the cell phone.

I do have a very nice Masonic ink pen.

sniff watch it, she comes from a fine line of royalty timex's. Being a gentleman, to defend her honor,
I must ask you to send your second. Sabres or pistols at 400 meters will be acceptable.

I wear the cheapest Timex with day and date feature I can find. My watch doesn't impress people, and that's the way it should be.

Nope, my $45 watch works just fine. My buddy found a Rolex a few years ago. It was in a walnut orchard and probably dropped by a migrant farm worker from Mexico.
