And here I thought it was a scale I stepped on to get my weight :laughing9:

That scale was something to even try to comprehend... Simply amazing

I think the only movie that ever came close to showing something of that magnitude was "Contact", it had that one scene that took you to worlds beyond. :thumbsup:

There's been a few, but Contact had a good one if I remember correctly. I had never heard of the unit "yoctometer." "Yoctometer-brain!" -- I offer you a new insult to use at your discretion ;-)

A yoctometre (American spelling: yoctometer, symbol: ym) is an SI measure of length that is equal to 10-24 (yocto) of a metre. A yoctometer is equivalent to 1/100 of the diameter of an electron, and 1/100 000 the diameter of a proton or neutron.
1 ym = 1 × 10-24 metre

In terms of relative length of units, a yoctometre ranks as follows: Planck length << yoctometre << zeptometre. A yoctometre is 1/1000 of a zeptometre (1 zeptometre (zm) = 1,000 yoctometres).

Some of it was a bit off it seemed, but with such breadth of scale approximations are in the 'orders of magnitude' style. Maybe there is a 30' earthworm :dontknow: :D

How about 'Yocto-Mom'...? ::)
