Re: More thought's

And you expect a reply? :D

Interesting statement, but exceptions are the rule when generalizing.

Only the bold will reply on this thread :laughing7:

It's best to keep it generalized, and let people read into it what they want..

Re: More thought's

With the chance that there 's so many great minds out there, how come no one has come up with a baby diaper made from newspaper.I know that this is an MD site but thinking about my twins(their 19 years old now), I've often thought of this an how cheap it would be. :help: me.

Produce Guy, there you go.. posing a great question..

The only problem with the newspaper is that once it gets wet, it will disintegrate. :laughing7:

The good news is that the make kitty litter from old newspapers, so no dust.. Although inexpensive, it doesn't eliminate the odor of urine as the sand, or pine filings do. :(

And I'm glad to see you are paying attention poorhunter :laughing7:

Re: More thought's

I represent the warped minds , not impressed with the great , average or small minds but enjoy watching the antics of the simple minds as they scamper to prove they are of a superior mind while they swim in a sea of monotony .

Re: More thought's

dirt doctor, now that is interesting thinking.. I never thought of adding simple minds to the equation..

Just don't go getting too deep like Beep :laughing7: What is most interesting you were posed with three options, none appealed to you, so you had to seek out an option that would best work for you. That's not being warped in my opinion, it's just a mind that seeks other alternatives.

:) The two do appear to be different, although some disagree (mind/brain dualism).

See I was always told

A. It is all right if you talk to yourself.
B. Just don't answer, and He will go away.

Talk about disagreement we could say the mind/brain is the cocoon for the soul and put a whole new twist on this thread (possibly start a religious war here ). :laughing7:

Re: More thought's

Problem is when you talk to yourselves..You can only ignore them so long..Then It becomes a heated arguement..After you repeatedly tell them to Shut up, Kinda hard to Ignore them..Specially when a fight breaks out.. :laughing7: Usually the Great mind wins, Cause he can think up evil ways to make the others go away.. ::)

Re: More thought's

I think of it (the brain, or parts of it) as an interface between two realities. You could conceive of the mind as some type of agent of continuity, or consciousness; I don't have any insight except "nosce te ipsum."

Re: More thought's

In simple terms, the brain is physical, the mind is not. The mind is the sum of what is contained in the brain, that is to say, reason, perception, memory, emotion, imagination, etc.

If the brain is physical and alive and the end product is thought which drives us , how can we say thought is not alive?
