come on guys....
I want to backsplash behind my stove and sink area.
I am not a good DIY person for the home.
Would vinyl squares stuck to the drywall be OK? would it stay?
I want a cheap, easy to install and last long backsplash behind my stove area but sure am not going to cut ceramic tile with that nasty saw etc.
so can anyone suggest a great easy upgrade for me?

Yeah, when are they gonna start putting motors on glue guns?
Actually, there's no need to answer now, as she already has her answer.

I was so going to talk her thru a beautiful ceramic backsplash until she nixed the "nasty saw".

Re: come on guys....
I haven't replied cause I will only present my sweetie with the best handmade craftsmanship I can provide for her .
I spent 2 months last fall drilling and plugging 2000 half inch holes in antique heart pine bleacher seats that I then machined into 2000 sq ft of tongue and groove flooring for her kitchen/dining/living
room .
That will make you a firm beleiver in linoleum ..........................

Tee,
She can do anything she sets out to do . My carpentry skills are self taught and followed by a myrad of mistakes along the learning path . Ya just get in your mind what you want , research how , and keep trying until you get what you are happy with . There is no grand mistique in construction . Mostly
'paint by the numbers'. More ya paint the better the paintings become .

Re: come on guys....
A couple of years ago, my wife applied peel and press tiles on the wall in the kitchen as a backsplash, so far it's working pretty well.
