My mother passed away a week ago today. It's the hardest time of my life. But even through the sorrow I find some hope.
Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Acts 13:41
Oh KK I am so sorry. I don't know what it's like to lose a parent, I can only imagine how painful it must be. Will keep you and your family in my prayers

She was a wonderful woman and her memory will live with me...
Seems that a rule of life is that everyone will die sometime.
That's why we should all live our life to the fullest;
Tell those that you love that you love them. Every chance you have.
Spend time with friends and family.
Do the things that you enjoy.
But most of all, be a friend to everyone that you meet.

two idiots can out-vote one genius
All of us here enjoy reading your posts. Certainly your Mom would want you to get back out and enjoy they things you love. I'm not implying you shouldn't grieve, but part of the healing is getting back the routine of your life. Get out and dig! You know she'd want you to.
I parked my truck for 2 months to see my Mom through her final days . Then I carried her memory with me . Still do today .
Celebrate her by keeping her memory alive .
