    Headed across the pond

Tomorrow I'm headed to the UK to visit with my friend and do some detecting. I am so excited. Detecting has not been the same for me since my trip over there last year. This year I'm bound and determined to get a hammered coin. I'd also love a crotal bell if anyone is listening! lol

Give me a shout CD, I've got 1500 acres and 2 weeks, but no promises. All I can say is I'm in the Celtic/saxon area, but you are welcome anytime. My vacation starts tomorrow and I'm detecting for 2 weeks solid

Best of luck CD. Hope you find a lot of goodies. Hammered's a goodguy, and even if he's not he has 1500 acres of land to play on!

I went over there a few years ago with Jimmy Sierra tours and hunted the plowed farm stubble fields for about 10 days. As you probably know it's a lot of fun over there! You can hunt all day and hit the pubs at night! I managed to dug three hammered silvers in those stubble fields, so if you stick to it you'll find one too! Good luck! 8)
