in my 20s i got tired of bar flies and drove truck in the western states. I asked GOD for a blond hair farm girl from oregon. 2 months later i met the WARDEN and we still are together. So be carefull wat ya pray fur .

but for me I think prayers are way overused. to pray for common usual things or greedy things just ticks me off......lol

to pray for a good wholesome/productive/hpayy life with a good partner is cool.


best thing about prayers...you can justify not getting them cause He didn't think they would be good in your life.

God has answered my prayers many, many times in my life, even thought I thought he was wrong with the decision he made in the immediate time frame. In fact, he's doing things for me, to this very day, that I recognized as things that are very important to my survival, and I haven't even asked him for it.... .... So, for an agnostic(ME), you have to wonder....

Opening up, I'll tell you that I prayed for the return of many girlfriends when I was younger and lost them... and to this very day, each and every girl that I prayed for the return of, has ended up being the very opposite of what I would want at this time. I don't even know how to explain how he began to not answer my prayers, but did the best thing for me... it suprises me.

I guess the most perfect example of 'Him' taking care of me is no better said of two points in my memory. Long story short, I almost accidentally shot my high school girlfriend in the head with a 22 LR. But, that bullet didn't go off, because he kept the hammer from activating the primer. I'd still be in prison to this day if he wasn't watching over me.

Agnostic? Yes... But, if there was some entity watching over me, I would love to shake his hand and say thanks.

Not shooting my GF? Yeah, I'd like to know about that too... because 22 long rifle rounds have been perfected and hardly ever not go off. But, it didn't go off and just the right time. THAT's the story I tell people (me being agnostic), when I talk about Him.
