Well I've been a bit lazy lately and haven't been out to find anything. I must qualify for some handouts though

Yes. Just visit Crusader's office and fill out the 5 pages of paperwork and you should have a nice Roman strap end within 2 months.

Given the amount he finds, do you think one Roman strap end is really fair

I water hunt at the beach, can I get in on this? There is a couple of guys making nice finds and I'm jealous.
