Lucky Chopper Pilot in New Zealand

Apparently, one of my wife's best friend's husband, knows the pilot.
    Talk about a close shave....

Re: Lucky Chopper Pilot in New Zealand

I think the guys on the ground were in greater danger than the pilot, especially when the blades start to snap off and shoot around like shrapnel. The pilot didn't have far to fall to the ground, but it seemed that he was tossed about that cockpit, I wonder if he was strapped in correctly

Again, the distance down wasn't too great, I've had falls from about that height and nothing happened to me. This guy is hobbling away from the craft like no tomorrow, I bet it was more a case of shock giving him those wobbly legs

Next year they will use a crane and boom to do the job

The reason he could have been walking away wobbly was due to the fact he may have some extra weight in his pants after crashing and it was falling down his pants legs!!!
If I was President; I would take away welfare! I wouldn't make any bargains with foreign countries! I wouldn't take #@*& from any country! I would close the borders! I would get rid of taxes! I would make EVERYONE own at least 5 guns! I would ENFORCE Finders Keepers Law !!!!!!!!

I work with a person that used to work with .... cant remember the name right now, but he wrote a lot of code for simulators. He told me that flying copters is not like flying copters... it's more like, just constantly trying not to kill yourself.
