Several people I have in my class started talking about an urban legend supposedly substantiated by Snopes. In the process of joining this conversation I pointed out how Snopes is not infallible and has been discredited on numerous occassions. Also, how Wikipedia is also not fallible as anyone can add to, edit, or update a topic. For that matter, no source can be taken at full face value if it is on the internet. Needless to say, they are of the internet generation and think I'm a fool. Its funny to see those who are not open minded and level headed taking shots. I myself reserve the right to have an opinion, and the right to change that opinion as I receive new facts. Wouldn't it be refreshing if more people followed the same philosophy?

To all those TN'ers. Thanks for the support, the healthy level of criticism without being sarcastic, and the intellectual stimulation. It is times like this I realize how lucky I am with my chosen associations, my family, and my friends. Happy holidays.

yea like that is a true news source

of course the internet is full of facts (if ya get them mostly from a scientific or university or lab corporation etc (you know what I mean)

when you get it from blogs, biased sites, etc....then it is all up in the air as to total truth.

internet. I would never describe it as perfect ever to receive information, but then again, any type of info coming from who knows who is suspect.
