    Did I just hear coorectly? Is the government immediately stopping the presidential dollar program?

    Yes you did

    Effective Jan 2014 all paper currency in the US will replace presidents with more famous cartoon characters, like Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny, Fred Flinstone, etc...

    They are still reviewing all cartoons for various denominations
